Nursing Home Telehealth – Specialty Telehealth Service Provider

Summary

Partner Service Agreement soliciting the statewide specialty telehealth provider that supplies tele-geriatric and geriatric psychiatry consultation services for Maine's Nursing Home Telehealth grant track -- the vendor/provider side of the already-tracked "Nursing Home Telehealth: Nursing Facilities" grant.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be legally operating in Maine as demonstrated by a Certificate of Good Standing with the Secretary of State, maintain a FEIN and UEI, and demonstrate capacity to provide tele-geriatric and/or geriatric psychiatry consultation services in Maine. Applicants must employ appropriately credentialed clinicians licensed to practice in Maine (through the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine, Maine Board of Osteopathic Licensure, or Maine State Board of Nursing) who are available to provide services within 5 days of approval. Applicants must maintain billing processes to maximize reimbursement from third-party payers (including MaineCare per Section 90) and comply with privacy, security, and payer-of-last-resort requirements. Applicants must offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms supporting secure visits, reporting, integration or data export as required, serve rural zip codes, and provide technical support. Preference may be given to applicants with experience in providing behavioral health care to the geriatric population.
