This opportunity funds schools, school districts, school units, and community-based organizations (CBOs) to serve as partner sites for Maine's Youth Tele-Behavioral Health Program, delivering telehealth access points for youth tele-behavioral health services. Distinct from the Provider track (Project 2 subaward, separately tracked), which funds the telehealth service providers themselves. The statewide program expands youth tele-behavioral health services to increase access to youth-serving clinicians with a focus on rural areas, school partners, and students ages 12–18. Rural Maine has worse behavioral health outcomes than the national average. Models may include embedded community health workers but proposals are not limited to this approach, nor restricted to school settings only; youth may access appointments at home or in other settings.
Eligible applicants are schools, school districts, school units, and community-based organizations (CBOs) located in Maine, which can serve as partner sites for the Youth Tele-Behavioral Health Program by providing telehealth access points for youth. Applicants must be physically located in Maine.
