Alaska RHTP Year 2 Fall Funding Cycle (First of Two)

Summary

The Department of Health intends to award approximately $75 million through this first Year 2 cycle, with a single application process and up to five applications per organization. Applicants may use either the Planning Pathway for projects still assessing needs, building partnerships, or developing a project, or the Implementation Pathway for projects with a defined scope ready to begin. The cycle includes an Open Call aligned with any of Alaska’s six RHTP initiatives plus three statewide focus areas: EMS, care coordination after hospital discharge, and Pay for Value Readiness. Alaska’s applicant guidance describes target funding amounts for the focus areas; those targets may be adjusted based on applications, available funding, and portfolio needs. Earliest project start is January 1, 2027.
